EMOBILE Commences its HSDPA Mobile Data Service
"EM Mobile Broadband" from March 31, 2007
Flat Rate Mobile Broadband Data Service Including Full Internet Access from PCs
EMOBILE Ltd. (Head office: Toranomon, Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, Chairman & CEO: Sachio Semmoto; hereinafter "EMOBILE") commences its mobile broadband data service in the metropolitan areas of Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya from March 31, 2007. EMOBILE offers flat rate mobile broadband data service, including full Internet access from PCs.
1.Service
"EM Mobile Broadband" adopts 3.5G HSDPA technology in all of its service areas. The service offers 3.6Mbps maximum downlink speed and 384kbps maximum uplink speed.

EMOBILE offers flat rate mobile broadband service, including full Internet access from PCs.

"Data Plan (Ichinen)" and "Data Plan (Ninen)" are long-term discount plans for one year and two years, respectively. There are cancellation fees, when the users cancel or switch their plans within the contract period. The plan will be automatically switched to "Data Plan (Basic)" upon the completion of the contract period.
"Nentokuwari" is an annual discount plan for Data Plan (Basic) users. There are cancellation fees of 3,150 yen, when the users cancel their plans within one year.
3.ADSL Service
EMOBILE offers "ADSL Service"*2 through the wholesale ADSL service from eAccess. "ADSL Service"*2is offered at 1,500 yen monthly fee, with a maximum downlink speed of 10Mbps. The "ADSL Service"*2 is only available in eAccess ADSL service areas.
4.Promotional Campaigns
Kaigyou Kinen Campaign (Service Commencement Campaign)
EMOBILE offers free monthly fees from March 31, 2007 through May 31, 2007.
Mukigen Set Wari Campaign (Unlimited Period Bundled Campaign)
EMOBILE offers unlimited period 1,500 yen monthly fee discount on the "ADSL Service"*2, for the users who joined both "EM Mobile Broadband" and "ADSL service" from March 1, 2007 through February 28, 2009.

Service areas are expected to expand to areas within National Highway No.16 in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama and Chiba prefectures, and to part of Kobe and Osaka suburban areas by the end of June 2007.

EMOBILE commences pre-order sale at certain retail stores and EMOBILE On-line Store from March 1, 2007.
